The Palestinian Star used here has the same color scheme as a previous board, but with a center element. This darker center piece of oak is accented with lighter end caps.

I prefer to use metal pegs because wood pegs can break off in the holes.
I don't make the pegs. I buy them
from a wholesaler. The silver colored pegs are aluminum and the gold pegs are brass.
