Another use of what I call the Star element from traditional Palestinian embroidery, this time in burgundy with an olive green accent in the diamond element between the stars.

The wood is much ligher on this board. The grain on the end caps of all the boards is reversed from that of the body of the board. This provides a more interesting visual. I produce the end caps in small groups and then mix and match them with the board bodies depending on color and grain depth.
