When fully extended, the Butterfly loom accommodates projects up to 33 inches long. This is also where the loom aquired its name. From a compact dimension of 18 inches when fully contracted, the loom spreads its wings and metamorphosizes to an overall lenght of 36.5 inches.

At this or any length in between, the loom can be warped with a single, continuous thread. No tangling, no hassling with multiple threads, and most importantly, niether the warp threads nor the beaded project will need to be spooled before or during the project!
